Concrete Garages comprise of sectional concrete panels up to 2ft wide and up to 4 inches thick. They are made in an automated production process where the concrete mixture is poured into the panel mould through a vertical chute at which point the concrete garage panel is reinforced with two steel rods. The mixture is evenly spread and moves along the conveyor to the next vertical chute where the aggregate finish is added to give the rugged rustic appearance. Holes are added to each concrete garage panel in order to be secured to one another in assembly.
Concrete garage roofs would normally be of a pent or apex structure. The pent or flat roof is made of fibre cement and is angled with a slight slope front to back with guttering at the rear.
This can be reversed if required. The Apex roof has steel angle section trusses providing the angle required to lay the roof across 70 x 70mm planed and treated wood purlins. The roof can be of fibre cement roof sheets or tile effect fibre cement roof sheets. Concrete garage fascias are of timber or maintenance free UPVC construction.
A concrete shed or store building is made of the same concrete panels as the garages. The robust nature of the concrete building means it offers considerably greater security, life expectancy and service than an ordinary shed or store building. Concrete sheds and store buildings can be used for many purposes including storage, home office, gym, workshop, garden store of course or even running your own little cottage industry. There is a wide variety of options available for your concrete building including door window and fascia combinations not forgetting the option of an extra wide door for that awkward mower or special motor bike.
Very often a workshop can be created by adding a partition wall very cheaply to your concrete garage, thereby creating your very own integral room to suit your purposes.
Our dedicated concrete garage agents throughout the UK can provide an old garage removal service including removal of asbestos where necessary. Where it is required, agents can also offer a garage base laying service readying the ground for your new sectional garage. This is particularly important as the base to take a concrete garage must be flat, level and square.
